My name is Nate Stetler and I am a full time, professional pilot based in Grand Rapids, MI. Currently flying for a large, part 121 airline as my primary career, I also work with individual aircraft owners and clients. I am a former CSIP, and Cirrus Corporate Pilot and have extensive experience working in Cirrus aircraft. With these high powered aircraft being very unique, it is highly recommended to train with a CSIP or someone who has vast knowledge of them . My current and former clients will confirm that it is money well spent.
I am available for primary and advanced flight instruction, flight reviews, IPC’s, safety pilot, ferry missions and aircraft management.
Willing to relocate for an event outisde of my home base, especially if it is located near the midwest as I travel very well. See rates page for further details.
I began flying when I was 17 years old during my senior year of high school in a Cessna 152. I then went on to study full time at Western Michigan University in the Professional Pilot program where I acquired my instrument, commercial single/multi, and flight instructor credentials. Since then I have gone on to work as a flight Instructor, corporate pilot and now airline pilot for one of the country’s largest major airlines flying the Boeing 737.
The aircraft I have the most experience in by far is the Cirrus, with over 1000 hours in type, I am extremely familiar with all variants including the older generations. I have instructed and flown on the corporate side in these airplanes, experiencing all the different terrain, weather, and client personalities that comes with it. Flying and instructing is my passion and I always enjoy getting to know new clients and seeing them become safer and more knowledgeable pilots.
